The Eubelius Banking & Finance team is located in Brussels, counts 9 attorneys and is growing. It is a full-scope banking and finance practice, providing comprehensive assistance in financial transactions and regulatory matters. Our team acts on all sides of a deal, for both borrowers and lenders and provides advice to a broad range of Belgian and foreign companies as well as financial and insurance institutions.

To reinforce our team in Brussels, we are looking for a junior attorney Banking & Finance law.

Job description

As a junior attorney Banking & Finance law, you will, among others:

• become part of a fast-growing transactional finance practice, where you can take up an active role;
• be in direct contact with clients, negotiating and advising on challenging and complex deals;
• assist on a wide variety of transactional deals, including general corporate and (syndicated) assets based, acquisition, real estate and project financings (including PPP projects);
• act for a diverse Belgian and international client base, including BEL 20 and other listed entities, project companies and financial institutions;
• benefit from close interactions with, and learning from, senior members of the team.

Working closely together with other teams will allow you to handle all legal aspects in this area of the law – on any scale.

Profile

• You have a Belgian law degree with strong academic records;
• You are passionate about Banking & Finance law and eager to take your knowledge to the next level;
• You are a native Dutch or French speaker (with working proficiency in both) and with a strong proficiency in English;
• You have 0-2 years of relevant working experience;
• You are a good communicator and a real team player.
